There’s also plenty of places for mountain biking and walking. The Mohaka is one of only 2 remaining wild and scenic rivers in the North Island and is popular with white water rafters, kayakers, with trips of varying lengths and degrees of excitement. This river is also one of the best in the region for trout fishing.
