See all locations in Gyeongsangnam-doReputed to be the first island owned by individuals in Korea, Odeo Paradise Island is a nature lovers dream. Located in the Hallyeo Marine National Park, near Geoje Island, it was the home of a former fisherman and his wife, who spent some 30 years transforming a barren and mostly rocky island into a subtropical paradise.
The island is literally covered in beautiful gardens, parks and Mediterranean style buildings. Sculptures adorn many of the gardens, and exotic plants and fragrant blooms can be found everywhere. The sounds of classical music floating in the air complements the visual experience.
It is a wonderful place to wander around and enjoy the views over rocky beaches and sheer cliffs while enjoying the tranquility of this unique creation.
