Hangang River Information

The Han River (Hangang) flows through the centre of Seoul, it starts in North Korea on the flanks of Mount Geumgang and continues on to the Yellow Sea. The river is huge in breadth and is over 1 kilometre wide as it flows through Seoul.

The banks of the river are home to a number of parks, bike paths and pedestrian walkways. Cruises along the Han are a great way to enjoy the sites of Seoul from a new perspective, and also offer a refreshing respite from the heat in summer.
