Hallyeo Waterway Observation Cable Car Information

Korea's longest cable car runs from Tongyeong up to the peak of Mt Mireuksan covering almost 2 kilometres and rising up to 461 metres. The journey takes around 9 minutes to complete in state of the art cable cars, providing both comfort and safety.

At the top there are fantastic views over the city, with it's bays and waterways, and the islands of the Hallyeo Marine National Park. Tongyeong is sometimes referred to as the Naples of Asia. On a clear day visitors can see across to Japan's Tsushima Island.
