Clare Information

County Clare is located on the west coast of the Republic of Ireland. Its capital, Ennis, is a picturesque town and an important centre for Irish music. Ennis hosts the annual traditional music festival, Fleadh Nua, each May.

The Burren is a 300 square kilometre area of Clare that features a unique limestone karst landscape, and The Poulnabrone dolmen, one of the Clare's most visted Neolithic tombs, is located in Burren National Park.

Clare also boasts the spectacular Cliffs of Moher, which overlook the Atlantic and other attractions including Bunratty Castle, Spanish Point and Doonagore Castle near Doolin.
