Transport Options

Hungary's international airport is Budapest Ferihegy Airport in Budapest. The airport is only 16 km from the city. It has all the facilities needed for your travel car-hire, banks/bureaux de change, shops, hotel reservation desks restaurants and post office. If you are planning to come to Hungary by road in a car then you must make sure that you have an International Motor Insurance Cardand that it is valid for Hungary. The border guards are very strict about allowing cars through without these documents.
