Passports of all visitors must be valid beyond the period of stay in the Caymans and proof of sufficient funds and a return or onward ticket are also required for entry.
There is a KYD 20 (US$25) departure tax for visitors leaving the Cayman Islands - however transit passengers continuing their journey within 24 hours and children under 12 years old are exempt. This fee is often included in the cost of airline tickets however.
