Fort Edmonton Park Information

Canada’s largest living history museum Fort Edmonton Park features more than 70 period buildings – from four different eras in time – on 58 acres of land. Experience life as if you were in the Hudson’s Bay Company fur-trading fort in 1846 or see what it was like to actually be on the streets in 1885, 1905 or 1920. Ride a steam train, streetcar or horse-drawn wagons. A historical reproduction of a 1920s midway also includes a carousel with 32 hand-carved and hand-painted horses, and midway rides, giving new meaning to the term old-fashioned fun. You can also dine or stay overnight 1920s style on site at the Hotel Selkirk!
