Like much of South east Asia, Cambodia experiences tropical weather where it is warm to hot year round with the presence of alternating wet and dry seasons.
November to February is normally cool and dry with average temperatures in the mid 20s. This is really the best time to visit Cambodia with perfect temperatures for enjoying beaches and exploring temples.
March to May is traditionally hot and dry, although there are short showers in the afternoons that increase in frequency and intensity as the months progress. The temperature from April can be in the high 30s so while good weather for the beach, the temperature in inland areas such as Siem Reap can be quite hot and lacking breeze.
June to August is traditionally hot and wet however the monsoon rains are quite predictable occurring in the afternoon or evening. This can make planning easy.
September to early November is cool and wet. By October, temperatures are generally around 30 degrees.
