Sanur Beach is another popular sea side destination on Bali's southern peninsula. It is around a 15 minute drive from Denpasar and easy to travel to from any of the major resort locations. Sanur Beach is a little different to Kuta and some of the other beach locations as it is still quite traditional in its style and also features a coral reef that visitors can snorkel around right from the shore.
There is a large range of accommodation interspersed within traditional temples, gardens and village buildings. There is also a broad range of restaurants and bars overlooking the beach. Sanur Beach nightlife is pretty relaxed and tends to start up early in the evening and wind up by midnight
