The Australian Army Band Adelaide occupies a prominent position in South Australia. This distinguished group of soldier/musicians maintains a high standard of performance at official and public events in Adelaide and throughout the State, and has had a long and distinguished history in supporting the community of South Australia.

The band is a 40-piece entertainment ensemble that performs everything from Jazz to Tchaikovsky, Lloyd Webber to Rock. Their extreme versatility is displayed every time they perform. The band is also capable of breaking down into smaller ensembles such as Big Band, Jazz Trio, Brass Quintet and Rock Group. The band prides itself on performing concert programs that appeal to all age groups and all tastes of music and it is this versatility that sets them apart from other musical ensembles.
