Go snorkelling or scuba diving and discover myriads of tropical fish and colourful creatures while exploring delicately detailed coral gardens beneath warm tropical waters. While much of the region has been classified as national park and is preserved in its natural state, there are 10 resorts on eight islands to choose from.

Each resort has its own distinctive appeal, catering to differing tastes and offering an array of fun-filled activities, entertainment and relaxation options. Have you got energy to burn? Take the fast track around an island on a jet ski or try your hand at sea kayaking, parasailing or windsurfing. Experience the pleasure of island golf while playing on courses that are just as varied and spectacular as the natural wonders in the area. South Molle Island’s Arch McArthur Golf Club is set in a valley and edged by national park, or try your hand at the brand new course on Hamilton Island (opening mid 2009). You can also relax over award-winning food and fine wine or enjoy some satisfying retail therapy with many of the resorts housing a variety of merchandise.
