Leeuwin - Naturaliste National Park Information

Located on the Western Australia's south west coast 40 kilometres south of Busselton is the approximate 9,800 hectare Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park.

With attractive coastal scenery, sandy beaches, rocky headlands, several streams, coastal limestone, many caves, the park is definitely worth a visit. Coastal vegetation is low scrub leading into large areas of karri forest, banksia and peppermint within 10 kilometres of the coast.

Bandicoots, Western Grey Kangaroo, Brush Tailed Wallaby, many sea birds, rock parrots, and fire tailed finches inhabit the park.

The park offers many areas for bushwalking and there is a marked trail at Cape Naturaliste. The park's beaches offer good swimming, surfing and diving. Several sites within the park have barbecues one of which also has public toilets. Camping is available in one area; contact the Ranger for further details.
