Iluka Busselton Jetty Swim 2009 Information

The Iluka Busselton Jetty Swim is a world-class 3.6 kilometre ocean swim around the iconic Busselton Jetty, in the South West of Western Australia.

Since 1996, the Busselton Jetty Swim has grown from a local event with approximately 80 entrants, to an internationally recognised event attracting in excess of 1000 competitors.

The entire swim can be viewed from the shoreline or anywhere along the jetty itself giving spectators a truly unique opportunity to follow the participants around the course.

The Iluka Busselton Jetty Swim 2009 is open to swimmers of all abilities, from first-time novice entrants to experienced competitors.

The main attraction of Busselton is of course the heritage listed Busselton Jetty, the longest timber jetty in the Southern Hemisphere.

The 2009 Iluka Busselton Jetty Swim event will take place over two days, incorporating entertainment, activities and family fun, with the swim itself held on the morning of Sunday 8 February 2009.
