Augusta Hotel Motel Information

The Augusta Hotel Motel has a superb riverfront location on the banks of the Hardy Inlet, where the Blackwood River meets the sea.

The only hotel in the scenic coastal town of Augusta, it is located approximately 320 kilometres or a comfortable three and a half hour drive south of Perth, in Western Australia's Margaret River Wine Region.

Places in the world where two oceans meet can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Augusta is one of them. The Indian Ocean and the Southern Ocean come together at Cape Leeuwin just south of Augusta - with dramatic effect, although most of Augusta's seascapes are more tranquil. The region is dotted with peaceful bays and coves, perfect for walking, swimming, bird-watching and fishing.

The large elevated riverfront site in the centre of town provides tremendous inlet and ocean views and the hotel/motel offers a wide range of accommodation from motel units and self contained cottages to backpacker rooms. Dining is available seven days a week in either our Lounge Bar or Restaurant which both have River and Ocean Views.
