Wamberal Information
Wamberal is a Central Coast town about 90 minutes drive north of Sydney. It is both a residential and holiday destination near Terrigal. It is famous for its fabulous beach and safe lagoons but is also surrounded by a wealth of National Parks and nature reserves. The Wamberal Lagoon Nature Reserve protects the estuary and comprises 140 hectares of shallow coastal lakes rich in fish and birdlife. Wyrrabalong National Park offers magnificent headlands, cliffs and rock platform with coastal rainforest. Also nearby is Bouddi National Park and Kincumba Mountain Reserve.
It is a great place to base yourself to explore the activities and attractions of the Central Coast. These include deep sea fishing, horse riding, kayaking, bushwalking as well as Old Sydney Town.
