Buttercup Cottage Information

Estabilshed in 1998, Buttercup Cottage offers beautiful accommodation for one or two couples or one couple and two children. Romantic and luxuriously-appointed, Buttercup Cottage has stunning views of the mountains - Buller, Stirling and Timbertop. From any window superb rural views help you to relax.

The cottage is suitable for people with disabilities, providing wheelchair access and other features to make your stay enjoyable.

To help make your stay totally relaxing you will find a cosy wood fire and reverse cycle air conditioning.

Two ensuite bedrooms with a corner spa off the master bedroom assures you a great night’s sleep in the queen-sized bed. An accessible shower bathroom also serves the master bedroom.

The second bedroom has a king-sized bed for a second couple which can be prepared as two single beds if that's what you prefer. An ensuite shower bathroom ensures your total privacy. A fold out bed can be provided for a third child if required.

The beautifully equipped kitchen includes, refrigerator, stove and fan-forced oven, micro-wave oven and dishwasher.

A gas barbecue is located on the verandah for your use.

The comfortable sitting room includes television, video with selection of tapes, stereo and CD player with selection of discs plus a DVD player. Relax on the lounge suite and gaze out to the mountains or across the dam to more mountains.

Sunsets from the verandah are stunning.

For your convenience a laundry (including washing machine and tumble drier) is provided in the cottage.

The second type of accommodation offered is Buttercup Private Apartment.

Established in 1990 (as Carrathool Guest House) Buttercup Private Apartment offers charming accommodation for up to four people in two bedrooms.

Four and a half star rated, the apartment also has a corner spa, wood fire, air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD, VCR, CD and internet access, full kitchen, including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier plus a spacious deck to enjoy a barbecue and lovely views.
