Slumber Safaris - Werribee Open Range Zoo

Slumber Safaris is a unique accommodation experience located within Werribee Open Range Zoo. The campsite is located atop a rugged ochre escarpment, overlooking the giraffe, rhinoceros and zebra grazing below. Begin your experience with a private safari tour of the zoo, followed by an up close and personal animal encounter. Arrive at the Slumber Safari site where you will settle into luxurious canvas lodges complete with all bedding and towels. Once you've relaxed in your lodge, join your guides in the dining hut for drinks and nibbles overlooking the animals below. A gourmet barbecue dinner follows, proceeded by an inspiring African drum workshop. Then settle around the campfire for supper and further safari activities.

The next morning awaken to the roar of the lions across the plains. A hot shower followed by a hot breakfast prepares you for your next animal encounter.
