And in the oldest and driest of inhabited continents, there is one natural highlight which stands out as the embodiment of its timeless spirit. Uluru, in all its many moods, stands as testament to the near infinite quality of the land and the ephemeral nature of we who stand upon it.

The aboriginal people who are the traditional owners of the rock have been living around here for over 20,000 years. This place, and the region which surrounds it, has always had a powerful significance for the aboriginal people. It’s only when you have come to see it for yourself that you can hope to understand why.
