The Cairns Classic is a Professional Golfers Association Tour of Australasia Order of Merit event.

See some of the stars of Australian golf take on the challenging Paradise Palms layout, as they compete for AUD110,000 in prizemoney.

Previous winners of this event include current United States Professional Golfers Association Tour player Marc Leishman, four-time winner on the Australasian Tour Kim Felton, and up and coming Queenslander Paul Donahoo.

The field of 130 players plays one round each for the first two days, and a half way cut restricts the field to the top 50 players (plus ties) for the final two rounds.
