Djarawong Lodge Bed and Breakfast

Djarawong Lodge Bed and Breakfast is a magnificent purpose built Bed and Breakfast opening in late 2009 and is situated midway between Cairns and Townsville. Located off the highway only 1.6 kilometres, it has outstanding views across the canefields to the tips of the Islands beyond.

Its relaxed rural location gives guests the best of two outstanding environments. The quiet of a rural setting a few kilometres to the Wet Tropics rainforest walks and a short 20 minute drive to the 14 kilometres of sandy beaches in Mission Beach.

The situation is wonderful with only two rooms whose entry doors open onto wide all weather veranda where you have 360 degree views from the mountain ranges to the tips of the islands. The solar-heated, salt water, freeform swimming pool gives you the impression of being in a lagoon. Surrounded by tropical gardens with lots of areas to sit and relax. Because that is what Djarawong Bed and Breakfast is all about... relaxation.

There is a cabana to sit and enjoy the views or when you feel like a swim just dive in and get cool again.
