Kelly's Ranch Information

Saddle up and experience outback Australia on horseback. At Kelly's Ranch you can ride the Barkly Tablelands around Tennant Creek under the guidance of traditional Aboriginal owner and horseman Jerry Kelly.

At Kelly's you can sign up for personal instruction or a 1-hour group riding lesson or join a scenic or bush tucker trail ride. No experience is needed - there's a suitable steed for all ages and levels of riding experience. The ranch staff is experienced and will make sure that you have a memorable day in the saddle.

Along the way Jerry will share stories about the life of a stockman and hunting bush tucker over a cup of billy tea and damper made on the campfire.

Jerry Kelly is a local (Warumungu) Aboriginal and founder and operator of Kelly's Ranch. An experienced stockman and a traditional Aboriginal owner from the region, Jerry is famous for his yarns about traditional life.
