Richmond Coachman’s Rest offers accommodation in the heart of historic Richmond, 20 minutes from Hobart.

Coachman’s Rest has two studio apartments, both have some cooking facilities, microwave oven, laundry, tea and coffee making facilities, television, iron and ironing board, electric blankets, and clock radio. There is car parking available and this is a non-smoking establishment.

The best of both worlds are yours in these delightful modern studio apartments attached to the historic 1830s Star and Garter in the quaint Georgian village of Richmond. You are located in the main street of this delightful Georgian village, yet tucked away behind this historic building in a peaceful garden setting.

Enjoy many happy hours browsing in the superb art, craft and antique shops, find your way through the maze, feast at the fine restaurants and tea rooms. Admire the lovely old churches and sandstone bridge, picnic beside the peaceful Coal River and feed the friendly ducks.
