Coal Valley Cottage is a Federation style modern one-bedroom self-contained cottage located at the gateway to the Coal River Valley wine region en route to the historic town of Richmond. It’s surrounded by the premier wineries and restaurants of the district and enjoys a rural outlook and ambience.

Coal Valley Cottage is a cosy cottage ideally suited for couples. A fold-up sofa bed is also available if more than two people wish to stay. A hamper of generous breakfast provisions are provided daily, including home baked bread.

Nearby you can play golf, visit some wineries and within an easy leisurely drive visit the many attractions of the Coal River Valley, historic Richmond and Hobart.

Slightly further afield visit Port Arthur and meet a Tasmanian devil and some of the native wildlife and bird life at the Tasmanian Devil Park at Tarranna, explore the Tasman Peninsula, take a ferry ride to the historic settlement in Maria Island National Park on the east coast
