Australian TASafari Four Wheel Drive Camping Adventures

Australian TASafari Four-wheel-drive Camping Adventures offer camping tours to remote areas of Tasmania. The groups are small, so the active tours are more personal (maximum of nine people). We believe to truly experience the Tasmanian wilderness, bush camping is a must.

The tours are unique in Tasmania because we take you to familiar destinations but also remote, lesser known areas. Discover ancient rainforests, trek mountains, explore cave systems and head off the beaten track.

TASafari tours are at a relaxed pace that do not require long driving distances each day. We want to show you more of what these spectacular places have to offer. Daily walks are typically four hours.

We provide most meals; please refer to individual tour descriptions. Breakfast consists of cereals, fruit, toast, tea and coffee. Lunches vary from sandwiches to barbecues. Evening meals are prepared in camp ovens or on a barbeque (gas stoves are used in unfavourable weather). Vegetarian meals can easily be prepared on request. You will be amazed at the meals that can be prepared on an open campfire, even a roast dinner or fresh damper bread. You can experience Tasmanian gourmet foods, local cheeses and fine wines.
