Ringarooma/Ralphs Falls Information

Ringarooma is a small town situated 95 km north east of Launceston. It was established in 1859 to service the surrounding farming community. It also borders on mountain country. Half an hour’s drive away is the Mount Victoria Forest which is home to Ralph’s Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in Tasmania. An easy 20 minute walk brings you to breathtaking views of a long ribbon of water against a sheer mountain, with a backdrop of picturesque farmland.

Ringarooma is a popular destination for farm stay and eco holidays. Other attractions nearby include the old gold mining town of Alberton and the tiny village of Legerwood.
