AAMI Launceston Cup and Carnival Information
Tasmania's premier racing event is a fantastic day of racing, entertainment and fashion.
Launceston comes alive with the colour and excitement of the Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival, world class thoroughbred horse racing, fashions, glamour and entertainment.
The AAMI Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival has been an ever-popular event since it evolved, with the February Launceston Cup being one of its highlights.
Patrons can book a place in a marquee, settle at a picnic car space or enjoy lunch in the Members' Reserve.
The Examiner Newspaper Fashions on the Field is a competition, which is open to the well dressed. There are three categories which patrons are able to enter including the Men's Classic Race wear, Women's Classic Race wear and the Millinery Award.
There are fantastic prizes to be won to the total value of AUD20,000.
There is something for everyone at the Launceston Cup, so don't miss this premier social event on the racing calendar.
This event is part of the 2008 AAMI Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival.
