Beauty Point Cottages Information

Beauty Point Cottages provide self-catering and bed and breakfast accommodation on the Tamar River, Tasmania. The landscaped country gardens slope gently down towards the Tamar River.

Choose from two studio-style cottages or a cosy en suite unit in the Federation-style homestead. The en suite unit has a queen-size bed and an optional roll-out single bed. The self-catering cottages both have water views and each accommodates two guests with the choice of a king-size bed or two king singles. Both cottages have a kitchenette, sun-filled private verandahs and one has a spa bath. Breakfast provisions include a generous basket of the freshest ingredients including a cob loaf from the wood-fired historic oven, homemade jams and delicious Tamar Valley yoghurt. There is a garden gazebo, ideal for a casual barbecue.

Spend some time exploring the nearby Tamar Valley attractions. Visit the region’s many acclaimed cool-climate wineries and stop for dinner at one of the picturesque vineyard restaurants. Take a Tamar River boat cruise or drive into central Launceston and enjoy the boutique shops. Plan a beach walk in Narawntapu National Park and keep an eye out for local wildlife.

Beauty Point is about 35-minutes’ drive from Launceston (44 kilometres/27 miles).
