Come along on a Friday afternoon for a relaxed exploration of the world of Tibetan Buddhism. You'll watch a short video from the Discovering Buddhism programme, then discuss the topic and ask questions. The session ends with a guided meditation. A new topic will be explored each week in a six to eight week cycle, but you're also welcome to attend on a casual basis; no prior knowledge is required. Topics include mind and its potential, how to meditate, establishing a daily practice, karma and transforming problems. Classes are open to everyone, regardless of religious affiliation or current knowledge of Buddhism.

Established 1974, Chenrezig Institute is a centre for Buddhist study, meditation, retreat and practice nestled in the foothills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The Institute is home to a Tibetan Geshe (Lama), large community of ordained Sangha (monks and nuns), students, residents, volunteers, retreat goers and guests.
