Cat Balou Cruises Information

Your visit to the Sapphire Coast of New South Wales is not complete without a cruise around Twofold Bay, Eden or beyond aboard the multi tourism award wining vessel, 'Cat Balou'.

Cat Balou is a 16 metre power catamaran, in Waterways Survey for 72 passengers.

Ros and Gordon Butt have been owner/operators Cat Balou Cruises since 1987 and commenced whale watching cruises at Eden in 1990. They are most experienced whale watching operators in NSW and assist various research groups.

Twofold Bay Discovery Cruises operate all year. Dolphins and seals are seen on most trips.

Whale watching cruises depart daily from 20 September until late November with whales guaranteed.

On all cruises a live informative commentary is given and refreshments are included. Cat Balou is equipped with a dolphin/whale camera for underwater viewing and hydrophone to enable passengers to hear whales singing.
