The Waikeri Soaring Centre is one of Australia's leading centres for experienced and beginner pilots. The centre is home to the Waikeri Gliding club who will happily organise your flight for you. In the hands of an experienced instructor see the Riverland region from a completely different angle.
The gliding club began in 1937 when a group of enthusiasts got together. Today Waikeri is world renowned for its excellent gliding conditions. The long hot summers in the area provide the perfect weather for gliding and attracts pilots from far and wide.
The best way to explore the South Australian Riverland is in the front seat of one of these elegant Sailplanes.
