The centre is exclusive in its size and is purpose built. The Arena seats 6,000 while the centre can cater for conventions of up to 5,000 delegates and banquets up to 2,200 delegates. It features a 6,345 square metre Exhibition Hall, 12 meeting rooms and 40 square metre open plan Conference Secretariat. The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is the next generation of convention centre offering total wireless technology allowing delegates and visitors to log on to email and the Internet from anywhere within in the venue.
