Brisbane Festival Information
Overview
Brisbane Festival is Australia's largest international arts festival. For three weeks extraordinary international and Australian artists and productions, free world-class events, emerging fringe theatre, the spectacular fireworks display of Riverfire and inspiring conversation will fill the theatres, parks and suburban streets for Brisbane Festival.
Brisbane Festival 2009 will be one of the most exciting years in Brisbane Festival's history as it will be presented in its new annual format and coincide with celebrations to mark the sesquicentenary of Brisbane and Queensland's foundation.
Brisbane Festival combines with the former annual Riverfestival and the programme will include Riverfire on 12 September. Brisbane Festival programme will be released in June 2009.
