Indo Pacific Marine Information

Come and meet some of the Northern Territory’s unique marine life. Established in 1971, as a private research project, Indo Pacific Marine is a privately funded marine environmental and educational resource centre. Indo Pacific Marine, in the Darwin Wharf Precinct, is at the international forefront in the development of closed, self sustaining marine ecosystems and has won many international and national awards for excellence in tourism, education and ecotourism. Upon arrival visitors are introduced to the exhibition with a brief film, which focuses on the extraordinary life of a coral reef. A guided tour is then conducted throughout this spectacular living marine exhibition centre.
