Aboriginal Heritage Tours from Byron Bay to Ballina. Lois Cook is a modern, local indigenous woman with a family lineage stretching back tens of thousands of years in the Bundjalung Byron Bay area. Lois has an intimate knowledge of the flora and fauna of Byron Bay and surrounds. Knows the myths, stories and legends of the landscape and how it was created according to Aboriginal lore by the goanna and the snake.

Growing up in the area, Lois learnt the fertility sites, initiation grounds, fishing and hunting areas and experienced first-hand the hard and unforgiving face of white authority that imposed itself on Australia affecting all.
