Coorabakh National Park is best known for its impressive volcanic outcrops - Big Nellie, Little Nellie and Flat Nellie and the Lansdowne Escarpment.
The scenic forest drive is a loop road and it is recommended to do this drive from north to south due to more favourable road grades. The drive includes numerous lookout spots, cliffs, picnic areas, mountain views and eucalyptus forests with some rainforests.
Newbys Creek walk to Newbys Cave is a five minute walk to a large overhanging rock formation. Newbys Lookout sits on the edge of the Lansdowne escarpment offering a magnificent view over the Manning Valley. Starrs Creek Rainforest Area has a short boardwalk to allow a wander amongst the beautiful rainforest. Big Nellie Mountain is a large volcanic plug rising 542 metres.
Waitui falls is also situated just outside of the National Park in state forest.
