On Sunday, the Carnival starts with the Equalis Training Port Macquarie Cup Prelude Family Race Day which features activities for children throughout the day.

The Calcutta Dinner on Thursday features a Call of the Card and entertainment throughout the evening. Special guests for the evening are Gorden Tallis and Laurie Daley.

The Port Macquarie Cup Race Day, featuring the $80,000.00 VB Gold Port Macquarie Cup, will be held on Friday. The Port Cup Day will feature such events as Fashions in the Field, Race Book Contest and various other activities and events.

The Cemex Australia Race Day is held on Saturday.
