AAMI Golden Slipper Day Information
AAMI Golden Slipper Day is the richest day of racing on the Australian calendar.
The day boasts five Group 1 contests including the running of the world's richest race for two-year-olds, the $3.5 million AAMI Golden Slipper.
The impact the AAMI Golden Slipper has on both the thoroughbred racing and breeding industries is second to none. Leading sires Star Kingdom, Danehill and more recently Redoute’s Choice, have forged their reputation through the success of their offspring in this historic race.
