Mt Warning National Park Information

Mount Warning National Park is 2455 hectares in size, and is located in the Tweed Valley 12 kilometres south-west of Murwillumbah off the Kyogle Road.

Under Bundjalung law, only certain people can climb Wollumbin, so consider choosing to respect their heritage. The track is a steep 9 kilometres return trip, with a challenging rock scramble at the end.

As an alternative enjoy a stroll along the 200 metre Lyerbird Track or a picnic at Korrumbyn picnic area.

Useful information:

* Toilets are available only at the start of the walk.

* Suitable footwear should be warn

* Temperature drops rapidly as you ascend

* Carry your own refreshments

* Take all your litter away with you

* Keep to the track - short cuts cause erosion

* Camping and fires are not permitted
