Moonbi Information

Moonbi lies on the New England Highway at the foot of the Moonbi Hill, just 20 minutes north of Tamworth on the New England Highway. The village is renowned as a centre for the poultry industry in the district with many large poultry farms and associated industries located around the small village.

Just to the north, halfway up the Moonbi Range on the New England Highway, is the entrance to the Moonbi Lookout with some beautiful views of the district. Travelling from Moonbi to the lookout you will encounter Gravity Hill, one of those quirks of nature where water appears to run up hill.
