Walk to Art takes you to art. Art in the street, art in artist-run spaces, art in galleries. All hidden in Melbourne. walk to art is about breaking down the barriers: the intimidation of walking into an art gallery or studio, and the fear of not knowing how to look at, feel or describe art.

Walk to Art is an introduction to this world, so you do not need prior knowledge or a degree in fine arts to join the walking tour. During three hours, you will be chatting, socialising and learning from art dealers and artists, always guided by an art consultant who has a passion for walking and discovering.

At the end of the tour, you will receive a "starter pack", which will help you continue on your journey of art discovery. It includes magazines, discounts for memberships and subscriptions at art-related venues, and postcards for upcoming exhibition openings.
