The Kupungari Aboriginal Community welcomes visitors to Manning Gorge (named by Frank Hann in 1898 after Mr Manning of Lennard River) and maintains the camping area. Camping is adjacent the tranquil pools of the lower Manning and fees apply. A bush walk takes you to the upper Manning and Manning Falls.
The falls are at their best early in the season (May to July). Take time to explore, view Aboriginal rock art and swim in the pools near the falls. The bush walk is poorly marked and care should be taken.
There is a store with fuel available at the Mount Barnett Roadhouse.
