Ketchem Bay Information

Ketchem Bay is found in the remote South West National Park in Tasmania, part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. Access by road is from Cockle Creek the most southerly point reached by road in Australia. From there walkers on the south coast track can make a detour to the bay, otherwise access is via the ocean. Ketchem Bay provides a sheltered campsite for adventurous sea kayakers rounding South Cape and exploring the south coast.

It is a beautiful spot with a waterfall and small lagoon, golden sands and clean clear waters with pods of dolphins often swimming along with the kayaks.
