Hermitage Lodge Information
The award-winning Hermitage Lodge is a boutique style motel, nestled on 25 picturesque acres in the heart of the Hunter Valley. It is within walking distance of many of the area’s popular wineries and tourist attractions.
Hermitage Lodge has 20 studios and suites, offering personal, attentive service rarely found today. The rooms are large, comfortable and tastefully decorated with a great deal of attention to detail. 11 of these rooms, a mix of studios and suites, were built in early 2006. All 20 rooms have beautiful verandahs, overlooking the Lodge’s own Shiraz vineyard.
The Lodge also has a very successful licensed restaurant, Il Cacciatore, which is only a short stroll along the terrace. Specialising in Northern Italian inspired cuisine, Il Cacciatore is very popular with locals and guests alike. Of course, room service dining is also available for the weary traveller.
Family-owned and operated, with friendly and competent staff on hand to assist, Hermitage Lodge provides for a wonderful romantic escape amongst the vineyards.
