The Grampians National Park is one of Victoria's most popular holiday destinations and Halls Gap is the main tourist hub. Renowned for its breathtaking rocky views, rich Aboriginal culture, European heritage and stunning spring wildflower displays, there is plenty to see and do in this rugged ancient landscape. Declared in 1984, the 168,000 hectare National park is home to a rich diversity of plants and animals, many of which are endemic to the park.

Take your time to explore the many natural attractions including unique rock formations, scenic lookouts and spectacular waterfalls. Get outdoors with a range of adventure activities, from rock climbing and abseiling, to mountain biking and canoeing. Relax and unwind in the picturesque surrounds attracting native locals including kangaroos, wallabies, emus, possums and an abundance of birdlife. Trek along a wealth of walking trails both around the town and throughout the Grampians National Park. Fish in nearby lakes Bellfield, Lonsdale, Fyans, Wartook or the Wimmera River.
