Garry Palmer, a level four ASI Master Coach (who trains ASI surf coaches), is the founder of Surf Easy Lessons and has been teaching people to surf at Currumbin - the Gold Coast's safest learn to surf location - since 1994. He offers the best value lessons on the Gold Coast with the most experienced instructor.

Currumbin Alley's sheltered layout makes it less exposed to the prevailing winds, creating both perfect Learn to Surf conditions and challenging long rides for the experienced surfers. Learn to Surf Lessons include instruction in paddling, wave catching, various prone to feet methods, surfboard design and surf safety. Surf Easy has a near perfect record for getting you up quickly on the first lesson (with plenty of water time and minimal time on the beach doing theory).

Surf Easy Lessons and Hire is a licensed Gold Coast City Council approved Surf School and conforms to the Academy of Surf Instructors accreditation standards for a Surf School. Garry is also the only ASI Level Four coach on the Gold Coast and runs training courses through the Academy of Surfing Instructors to train other surfing coaches and surf survival courses for schools.
