Free whole day folk music concert held in the central community parklands of Boolarra. The festival is complimented by a large arts, craft and produce market. Entry is free however a gold coin donation is appreciated.

The Boolarra Folk Festival committee are extremely proud to have won Community Event of the Year Award at the Latrobe City 2008 Australia Day Awards. Festival Convenor, Ray Stewart (the hairy one at the back), delivered a fitting (and long) tribute to the community of Boolarra, in thanks for their continued support and hard work.
