Territory Wildlife Park Information

See the birds and animals of the NT in their natural habitats at the Territory Wildlife Park. Nestled in 400 hectares of natural bushland, the park is only a 45-minute drive south of Darwin.

Walk through treetop aviaries, stroll around a natural lagoon and walk into the tunnel beneath an aquarium to stand nose to nose with a 3.7-metre saltwater crocodile. See the agility and skill of raptors at the daily free-flight birds of prey display. Wander into the dimly lit nocturnal house to catch a glimpse of the NT's elusive nocturnal creatures, or take a night-time tour with a spotlight to see them out and about. Catch the spectacle of pelicans flying in to be fed, the wild birds and animals in the sanctuary of the park's billabong, and get up close to park creatures during the Animal Encounters and Presentations.

The Monsoon Vine Forest Walk goes through an area supported by the springs that flow into Berry Creek, which is traditionally significant to the local aboriginal people.

The place comes to life during school holiday breaks when the Park schedules great educational workshops and interactive programs to keep the kids entertained for hours.
