Farnborough State Pre and Primary School is located about 10 kilometres north of Yeppoon, only a few minutes away from Bangalee Beach. Every year students and teachers help to host Farnborough Fair, which is a major local fundraiser.
Stalls include food, Plant and Craft, Face Painting, Side Show Alley, Cent Sale, Animal display, FunnBallz and petting zoo, Carnival Rides, and Auction with fantastic prizes that have been donated.
