The District of Dalwallinu celebrate their fifteenth Wattle Week Festival, with activities including an art show, wildflower display, bush breakfast, escorted tours, craft morning and much more.
The 186 species of wattle blooming in the Dalwallinu Shire provide a beautiful display. The spectacular wreath flower, orchids, sun dews, everlastings and a myriad of flowering bushes are there for your delight. The more rain the better the display.

The town of Dalwallinu sits astride three water catchment areas-the Moore, the Avon and the Yarra Yarra. Petrudor, Four Mile Dam, Xantippe, Buntine Rocks and Miamoon reserves delight with spring flowers and you may see an Echidna, Mountain devil or Mallee flower. Other displays include the biennial art show, the Wubin wildflower display, and the Wubin Wheat bin and machinery museums.
